My computer isn't accessing the internet. While other computers on my network are?

Under network connections it says its sending packets, but not receiving any. Pressed "repair" still nothing.

wow!! may computer does thesame sometimes. I have to call the engineer who works im my network. But I kind of start to think what he does is just putting the ip address back again. I observe thet the sending packets should be higher than the receiving packets and if not so you cant access and sometimes if I restart the system, the network comes back . pls if you more, lets be in touch.

restart your system
If you are using a wired connection, try replacing the cable (or see if that cable works in another location). Also, if you have a spare network card (perhaps in a machine you are not using at the moment), try replacing that and seeing if it works.

It could be a number of other things, but for some reason, those are the first 2 things I thought of (since I usually am able to find spare cables and spare network cards -- and because other computers on your network are working with no problem).

Good luck,

Riven

P.S. and make sure you have proper privileges if you attempt a 'repair connection' -- in fact, I think the 'repair' feature is unselectable otherwise.)
