my computer about a week ago would turn off about 20-50 secs so it took it to the repair shop and they cleaned out the fen and i brought it home did a virus scan and deleted lime wire but it still shuts off. no error messages pop up.

if it's overheating then some chips on the board might be deep fried and if that's the case then there's no hope because fried chips mean system instability and system instability means windows freaks out and shuts down.

it is either the battery or the fan doesnt work... a friend of mine's fan broke and the same thing happened
