How can i regain d sound on my computer????antivirus programs

What is your actual problem? If you can't hear a song that you are playing, double click on the volume icon at the bottom left of your pane. Check if everything is in order and the levels are not too minimal or muted. Else check the connection of the speakers to the UPS. If the song pauses when you are playing a audio CD, it is more often due to dust particles on the CD. Wipe the CD and the CD tray thoroughly with a clean piece of cloth to prevent unwanted pauses. Also play a lens cleaning CD to remove dirt from the lens.

If u can't hear the sound means the problem is in your sound card. You have to install driver for that. It it pauses in between means you have to uninstall it and have a good setup file. then install it. Check u have enought memory.(RAM)
If you are using the on board sound, reinstall the motherboard drivers. If you are using a sound card, reinstall the drivers. Also check if any of the volume controls is muted.
Well for a start, you can double click on the little speaker icon in the lower right hand corner of your screen (by the clock) and make sure its not muted. And then move all of the "sliders" all the way up so that you can be sure that the volume is all the way up. If that doesn't work then i'd check the sound card/sound driver by right clicking on "my computer" then select manage, then select device manager. In the device manager if you see anything that has a yellow question mark beside it then it probably means that somethings wrong with the configuration of that particular piece of harware. You want to look in the "soung, video, and game controllers" section and make sure that there are not any question marks beside anything there. - if there isn't, then maybe try right clicking on your sound card and selecting "update driver" and seeing if that helps. You can also right click on it and select "properties" and see if it says anything like "this device is working properly". - For a start!!!
