What's your opinion of the U.S. Jobcorp residency program?

What I know is that the U.S. Jobcorp residency program trains 16-24 yearolds to live independently and to perform a useful trade (computer repair, auto repair, culinary arts, etc). Meanwhile participants earn money for college and limited living expenses.

Any of you have experience with the program personally or through family/friends...as a participant or employer?
