How do tell which files are valid and which ones are invalid when using registry repair?

i installed stompsoft registry repair and i'm very new to computers and the insructions are not clear, they say after scanning process you remove the files the are causing errors etc. but to be careful not to remove files that are valid(needed to run certain programs) especially in the file/path references category(which is where 80% of my errors showed up after scanning) how do i tell which ones are ok to clean and remove and which ones are valid files and required for use? when i say insructions are not clear i'm refering to user's manual at http://www.stompsoft.com/downloads.html

Why are you doing this? Cleaning a registry doesn't usually get that much performance. As for knowing what keys can be removed; you'd have to be familiar with what the keys are for and which program they belong to. I recommend you don't mess with it.
