Any new software that I try to download gives me an error reading, "The Windows Installer could not be accessed, this can occur if you are running Windows in safe mode. Contact your service provider". Please help! I am trying to upgrade my iTunes software so I can sync my iPod to my computer but Windows Installer is preventing this for now. Thanks.

I ended up having to do a complete system restore because none of the directions from the Microsoft website helped. I backed up all of my files and did the SYSTEM RESTORE, and it worked out very nicely! Thanks for all of the help. Report It
