Hey! . . . While I've been on this computer . . .there was a leak in my roof?

in my apt. right over my bed and my mattress got wet all the way through . Wow. Huh? I have an air mattress. Does it take long for an apt. to repair a leak in a roof? I wondered why the ceiling above my bed was turning yellow . . . looked like cigarette smoke stain . . . but I don't smoke . . .thought what . . .I hope the maintenance guy doesn't have to come back a zillion times and doesn't take too long. I have two rabbits and I think they think I only have one. I don't want anyone to use this as an opportunity to charge me a second pet deposit. Like . . .Hey, . . we saw that you have TWO rabbits. Any chance I can make them buy me a new mattress . . .like cause of mold from being wet. Wet twice cause last time I just thought that rain BLEW in real hard and far when I had the screen and not the glass door. And I just waited for it to dry. Smelled funny . . .but thought it was my rabbits litter box ammonia . . .now think it was because it was mold from mattress.

They would have to fix the leak from outside if it is a roof leak. If it is from something else, like a pipe in the ceiling, they might have to rip out a part of the ceiling to get to it. Whoever comes to fix it is not likely to know about how many rabbits you are supposed to have, and at any rate, by the time the management gets around to fixing your problem you will probably have 20-30 rabbits anyway judging by the way those suckers breed.
