Ive now repaired a problem i was having with my hard-drive i was getting a message that said: "Disk read error" and repaired it using da repair console.
Now that my computers back up and running again what can do to make sure i dont have this problem again?

If your got a burner, start backing up your data now. This is the early stages of a complete hard drive failure. and when it does happened you will be safe because you back every thing up.
I've had my far share of hard drives dieing on me. it starts off as some thing small like that, then with in 2 weeks to a year dead, done, finish, to the trash can.

Hard to really say , but run defrag more often as well as disk clean up and check disk once in awhile.
