just unplug ur computer right when u turn it off for now and look up information about it on google or search around ur computer at like help and support or the control panel and stuff
Hardworki... had it right...

Go to Control Panel...

Open "Power Options"...

Click on the "Advanced" tab...

Under the "Power buttons" group, select what you want the power button to do when pressed. Safest option is "Ask me what to do".

Hope this helps! =-]
plug of the main supply
How are you shutting it off? From the start menu or the power switch? If your using the power switch (which is not recommended)there is a place in your settings where you can select when power button is pushed restart or shutdown.Hope this helps
unplug it. the next time you use the computer again, check to see if there is any viruses and spyware. get rid of them if you find any.
