I am taking a class on Access and I only take my flash drive to class and home. Sometimes I need to use it on computers that do not have Access on it but need to use it there. How can I install the software onto the flash drive so I can use it on any computer I use?
When I try to run the install, it gives me 3 options:
-Add or Remove Features
-Repair
-Remove
I'm assuming because it is already installed on my computers hard drive.

I belive access forbids it from being able to be put in a jump drive because on main installation it writes itself onto the refistry. But you can try by going onto the computer it's already installed and traveling to your systems main drive, go to program files, and find where Access is installed. From there you can click-drag the file to your flash drive.

You would be better off using Access Viewer on the flash drive.
Here is the link from Microsoft:

I do not think a flash drive is large enough for Access. Also Access, along with word, excel, powerpoint, etc. are operating system dependent. This means when you install an operating system must be present and a flash drive does not have one.
If you absolutely need Access to be mobile get it on a laptop or make sure the computer your working on has it. Older versions can be burned onto a DVD but the newer ones have an activation system that prohibits this. So if you have an older version burn it to a DVD then install it on the other computer.
Your best bet would be to download portableapps and install Open Office portable onto your flash.
1. Run everything normally as u do for hard disk drive
2. When the install portion comes select the flash drive instead of the hard disks portion.
