Computer is running weird.?agv
Get your System Recovery CD and re-install Windows.
Computer is running weird.?antivirus software
You have a driver conflict. You can right click on My Computer and go to properties. Then go to the device manager, once there look for any little yellow exclamation signs. These will point to any problem devices. Try doing your windows update and clicking custom when ask and then check for downloads that are not required. Win update will not always download your hardware driver updates because they are not "Windows" required updates.
Check to see that your hard drive is well attached to your laptop. Also check your Memory Cards to make sure they are install properly.
ok you will have to do a system recovery..the recovery searches for files that have been corrupted and that need to be restored..depending on what type of computer you have depends on where the recovery is located. if this is a desktop computer when you start it up press f10..this will start the recovery..if you want to do a regular recovery, press next or start..follow instructions. if you want to do a full system recovery (this restores computer back to factory settings just like when you bought it) press advanced..then press ok if another window pops up.. if its a laptop you should have a tool bar on the main screen and there should be a button that says system recovery or restore (i cant remember)...there should be a thing that says full system recovery..follow the instructions and this should help..write me back and let me know if this fixed your problem
maybe the hard drive as crashed
MAN!!! Another issue with VISTA. Will it ever end??? My advice is to FORMAT and put XP back on your machine. It's definitely a more stable and compatible OS....plus I hear vista is going to be a short lived operating system.
Try running Advanced WindowsCare V2 from iobit. it may clear things up for you too.
You might take a look inside your machine and make sure everything is seated properly also.
vista sucks
