You can't really test a computer to the car. May have to do a junkyard search, or see if anyone sells them at an autoparts store. ECM, is the main computer for the car anyways.
install the ecm in a donor car see if she runs or try an ASE school training center and ask the instructor for advice......
you can test to see if it works at a local auto-zone or advanced auto sometimes. the best place and often the cheapest place to find replacement parts like that is the junk-yard. computers cost alottttt of money, and they sell them at a reasonable price at the junkyard. one person's trash is another person's treasure...
