How do I fix/repair an error message I am getting everytime I open up my Internet Explorer Page?

You chose to end the nonresponsive program, Internet Explorer. And the page in the blue windows frame area reads non responsive programs and just shuts down for no reason.

I never had this prb b4.

Then it mentions some kind of error application text is missing or some crap. And then the page or website I opened up to shuts out IMMEDIATELY. And then asks if I want to "print a report out" on the error message I received, or the other option was "don't send". Can someone please help me out? This HP pavilion tower desktop computer is 5 years old I just got Optimum Online's triple play program with cable/internet service/ phone service and they couldn't even help me out. I even tried using the computer's own PC Tune-Up/Repair icon to help me out and it couldn't find anything wrong and my internet is opeing and closingup like molasses.

And to be honest I am no computer expert but I can turn the darn thing off but when it gives me script error messages, then I am at a TOTAL loss. Thx

Go to start menu ... run... type %26temp% delete all files on there u can, then try internet exploer again, it seems like temporary files are causing windows IE to close, also clean internet... use start, accesorries, system tools, disc clean up delete temporary internet files and temporary program files, try again if that doesn't work contact u're internet service provider for help it sounds like some conflict between IE and u're service provider, maybe their own internet serve (identical to IEs functions but not the same proram).

How about simply using another browser like Firefox.

I would recommed Maxthon and The World browser. Give them a try they are better than IE.
