You say you have tried it all. Have you really booted from your installation CD and chose the repair option? If not, do so and when you get to the command prompt type chkdsk /r
My system is missing or corrupt and wont start what do i do?nortan
try resetting bios f2 set up then try to boot
sounds like you need to format your laptop mate, make sure you have all the drivers for your hardware first though,if this dosn't make sense to you then I suggest you take it to your local pc repair shop.
the only thing you can do is set it back to factory setting thought control panel
you need to send your pc to a pc dr i had same problem with my pc goodluck
Do you have the 'Recovery Console' installed? If not, then you're a little stuffed.
I always have the 'Recovery Console' installed so I can diagnose problems like this.
I think your going have to reformat your hard drive, unfortunately.
You can go to the site in my source list and see if any of the people over there know any more.

Have your tried formatting your Hard drive and using your restore CD, sometimes not formatting the hard drive may not always solve the problem...Make sure yoy back up all your dats before doing so.
